Own the operational layer of product at Hypefy — align the team, keep the roadmap moving, and connect shipping to the rest of the company.
You’ll spend your first few months learning the whole product, working directly with Head of Product and the engineering team. After that, you’ll own a product area end-to-end. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership on the strategy and roadmap, your job is to make sure the team is aligned on what matters, that the roadmap reflects reality, and that the rest of the company knows what’s shipping and why.
Keep the team aligned toward defined product focuses: clear priorities, no ambiguity about what’s next. Writing huge specs is not necessary, but cutting/discovering ambiguity is.
Upgrade and own internal processes: key events, key artifacts (we operate on the principle “just enough process”). The key metric is building team knowledge.
Own the roadmap: keep it accurate, up to date, and grounded in what’s actually possible
Communicate releases to Sales, Marketing, and other departments: translate shipping into business language
Run discovery: talk to users, synthesize feedback, identify problems worth solving
Use AI tools (Claude) as a core part of your daily workflow: we expect fluency, not occasional use
2+ years in a tech company as PM, product owner, or project manager (hard requirement)
Proactive: you figure things out, you don’t wait to be told
Ask a lot: your success depends on you being able to ramp up quickly, which you can do only by getting deep into topics and not be afraid to ask a lot of questions
Comfortable with ambiguity; evidence of this from any area of life counts (team sports, past roles, side projects)
Technical literacy at taste and/or technical level: you understand what’s a design problem vs. an engineering problem, what’s hard vs. what’s fast
You use AI tools fluently
High ownership, low ego, good communicator
Experience in B2B SaaS or B2C SaaS apps
Worked directly with engineering in a fast-moving startup
A collaborative, startup environment where your work has real impact
Opportunities to grow fast as the company scales
Real variety — no two weeks are the same
A team that values good operations and will actually listen to your suggestions
Flexible hours and a human, supportive culture
