In this role, you’ll lead our content direction end-to-end from positioning and messaging to editorial planning and distribution. You’ll work closely with Marketing and leadership to ensure content supports brand, acquisition, and revenue goals.
Initially, you’ll also be hands-on in execution. You’ll write key pieces, refine tone of voice, and establish the quality bar. As we grow, you’ll help scale the function and bring additional writers or contributors into the mix.
This role is ideal for someone who has led content strategy before, understands performance-driven marketing, and is excited to build a content engine from the ground up.
Own and evolve our overall content strategy aligned with business and revenue goals
Define positioning, messaging angles, and key content themes
Develop and manage the editorial roadmap across channels
Ensure consistency in tone of voice and brand narrative
Align content initiatives with Marketing, Sales, and leadership priorities
Write high-impact content across formats (long-form articles, thought leadership, website copy, case studies, newsletters)
Edit and refine content to maintain a high quality standard
Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives
Optimize content for performance (SEO, engagement, conversion)
Experiment with new formats and distribution channels
Define content KPIs and measure impact on traffic, engagement, and pipeline
Use data to identify opportunities for content improvement and expansion
Collaborate with performance marketing to align content with acquisition goals
Improve distribution strategies to maximize reach and impact
Turn insights into actionable content experiments
Build scalable content processes and workflows
Establish documentation, guidelines, and quality standards
Manage external contributors or freelancers when needed
Lay the foundation for future content team growth
Continuously refine how content supports broader GTM efforts
5+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or content strategy
Proven experience owning and leading content strategy
Strong writing and editing skills with a clear, structured style
Experience creating performance-driven content (SEO, lead gen, thought leadership)
Ability to connect content efforts to business and revenue outcomes
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales
Experience in B2B SaaS or tech
Experience working with analytics tools (GA, Search Console, etc.)
Familiarity with content distribution beyond organic (LinkedIn, partnerships, etc.)
Experience managing freelancers or building a small content team
High ownership and direct impact on how our brand and growth evolve
