Repost on Your Own Channels
You share the post on your own Instagram or TikTok, with credit to the creator. It’s the simplest use and usually the first one brands ask for.
Brands can now buy usage rights to approved posts inside their Hypefy campaign. You set a buyout budget in the brief, pick the posts once they’re approved, and your campaign manager agrees the deal with the creator.
Brands such as Sony, Eucerin, Henkel, Johnson & Johnson, Carlsberg, Lay’s, McDonald’s, and PepsiCo run their influencer campaigns on Hypefy.

A brand only finds out which post is worth keeping after it goes live. By then the campaign budget is spent, the invoice is closed, and the creator has moved on to the next job.
Paid usage rights get agreed late, in a hurry, and usually as a separate project with its own paperwork. A buyout budget set aside in the brief is ready the moment the right post shows up.
A buyout takes three steps, the same three you’ll see in the app:
Add a Buyout Budget to Your Brief
When you create a brief, tick content buyout and enter an amount.
The budget sits next to your campaign budget at checkout, is billed as its own line, and is kept aside for buyouts only.
Request Usage Rights on Approved Posts
Once a post is approved, pick it in your Collabs tab and describe how you plan to use it, in your own words.
You can change or withdraw the request until a deal is agreed.
Your Campaign Manager Agrees the Deal
Your campaign manager takes the request to the creator and agrees the price and the terms with them.
The Buyout column in your Collabs tab shows where things stand, and your campaign manager comes back to you whether the creator says yes or no.
When a boost is part of the deal, the TikTok Spark Ads code or the Instagram partnership ad code shows up in the same table.
We’ve handled influencer usage rights for years. What’s changed is where the work lives.
Most buyouts come down to one of three uses. You describe yours in the request, and your campaign manager agrees it with the creator.
Our guide to influencer content usage rights covers each one in more detail.

You put ad spend behind the post exactly as it looks on the creator’s profile, through partnership ads on Instagram or Spark Ads on TikTok. People often call this influencer whitelisting.
The creator gives a code for the post, and the code shows up in your Collabs tab, ready to paste into your ads manager.
You use the video or image in ads under your own name or on your own website.
This is the widest use, so creators look at it most carefully before they agree.

A content buyout means paying a creator for the right to use their content beyond the original campaign post, for example in your own ads or boosted from their account.
On Hypefy, you request it on an approved post inside your campaign, and your campaign manager agrees the deal with the creator.
The creator owns the content after a buyout.
A buyout gives you permission to use the content in the ways you agreed with the creator through your campaign manager.
There’s no fixed price.
The price depends on the creator and on how you plan to use the content, and it’s paid from the buyout budget you set in your brief.
